These Terms set out the conditions for using miteru (the "App"). By using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
The App uses Apple's Screen Time capability to show a check-in screen when you try to open an app you have chosen. It does not forcibly prohibit use; if you choose "Just 10 min", you can use the app temporarily.
How Screen Time works depends on iOS. Depending on your device settings or iOS updates, the intervention may not appear, or may not reappear on time.
When you join a group, your display name, your daily "stopped X of Y times" count and rate, and reactions are shown to members of the same group.
Setting a display name that offends other members, or improperly distributing invite links, is prohibited.
You can report an inappropriate display name or group name by long-pressing a member on the group screen and choosing "Report display name", or by choosing "Report group name" from the menu. We review reports within 24 hours and, if they violate these Terms, take action such as removing the name or removing the user from the group. You can also hide that member on your own screen only.
miteru Plus is an auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, it automatically renews for the same period at the same price. You can manage and cancel it in your App Store subscription settings.
Purchases and refunds are governed by Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions (Standard EULA).
- Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
- Interfering with the operation of the App or its servers, or unauthorized access
- Modifying or reverse engineering the App for improper use
- Harassing or impersonating other users
- Using obscene, discriminatory, violent or otherwise offensive content in display names or group names
The App does not guarantee any effect, such as a reduction in usage time.
We are not liable for any damage arising from use of the App, except in cases of our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
We may change the App or discontinue it without prior notice.
We may change these Terms as needed. If you use the App after a change, you are deemed to have agreed to the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
